I like to make home and artwork connect, so that imagination and creativity are a constant presence in one's daily life. The functionality of the final product contributes to its intrigue as a piece of art. Clay has been around since the beginning of time and its fun to a part of its story and, of course a part of a celebration of tea or flowers and or, the daily round and the morning cereal. I paint both the tops and bottoms; the painted plate is for both the diner and the dishwasher.
